Dear Neighbours,
Forest Meadows HOA will be holding our annual meeting at 6:30pm on Monday September 23rd, 2024.
We will be located outside in the first cul-de-sac by the Patterson road entrance. Please bring your own lawn chair 😀
2 things.
one - since we don't have an active neighborhood FB group. We moved in in March and have met a decent amount of neighbors nearby but would love to get to know more, especially if there are any lovely neighbors around our kids ages (2 yr and 4 mo - both girls)
two - I keep hearing how great trick or treating is in the neighborhood. any idea what day this will be occurring this year?
Thanks!
Erica Meleca

The Fourth of July—also known as Independence Day or July 4th—has been a federal holiday in the United States since 1941, but the tradition of Independence Day celebrations goes back to the 18th century and the American Revolution. On July 2nd, 1776, the Continental Congress voted in favor of independence, and two days later delegates from the 13 colonies adopted the Declaration of Independence, a historic document drafted by Thomas Jefferson. From 1776 to the present day, July 4th has been celebrated as the birth of American independence, with festivities ranging from fireworks, parades and concerts to more casual family gatherings and barbecues. Dear Forest Meadows Neighbors,
As we approach the halfway mark of another year here in Forest Meadows, I want to take a moment to express my gratitude and provide a brief update.
First and foremost, I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to each member of our dedicated Board of Directors for their ongoing efforts and commitment in serving our community. Their voluntary dedication helps ensure that our neighborhood remains a wonderful place to call home.
I also appreciate all of you, our neighbors, who contribute to making our community vibrant and welcoming. Your efforts, whether through maintaining your properties, participating in neighborhood events, or simply being good neighbors, truly make a difference. We have a few new neighbors this year and we gladly welcome you!
Looking ahead, I want to highlight our annual meeting, which is generally held in the fall. This gathering presents a valuable opportunity…

The backflow prevention devices (commercial) are required to do tests every two years in accordance with the Administrative Rules promulgated under the Michigan Safe Drinking Water Act and the Grand Rapids Water System for Contamination.
Tests at both entrances (Burton Street & Patterson) are scheduled on May 21, 2024 and will be performed by a licensed plumber holding an active ASSE 5110 certification.
The two attached reports (for two entrances) below will be filled and then sent to Grand Rapids Water System Cross Connection Control Unit (1900 Oak Industrial Dr NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49505-6010) when both tests are finished.
4505 Will be there!!
